In the surrounding area of Limone Beach, you will find incredibly amazing landscapes and beaches. This area, in fact, presents an extraordinary uncontaminated territory and has won several times the 3 Sails, awarded by Legambiente (The Italian association for the protection of the environment). The area is particularly rich in archaeological findings belonging to different ages, amongst which an outstanding complex dating back to the Nuragic civilisation.
Castidas is well-known for its solid tradition in the production of wines having obtained the protected geographical indications and protected designations of origin (DOC and IGT).

Area Marina Protetta di Capo Carbonara
The Marine Protected Area of Capo Carbonara (or AMP) was established in 1998 on a wide area around 9.000 hectares bounded by the perimeter of the marine and coastal environment that has for vertices Capo Boi, the Isle of Man, and Punta Serpentara Porceddus. The objectives of the institution are not focused solely on the preservation of the natural heritage but promote the exploitation of resources, sustainable development and the formation of a higher environmental and cultural awareness in the local population and tourists.
